Key Volunteer Resources and Information

The Key Volunteer Network is a communications network, formed within a unit to keep families better informed about the mission and tasks of that unit, and to assist in establishing a sense of community within the unit. It is also a support network, providing information and the means for problem-solving at the lowest level possible.

The Orders which govern the program and provide the responsibilities and duties of the personnel involved in the network can by found in Marine Corps Order 1754.2A and Marine Forces Pacific Order 1754.3A.

If you want to learn more about the Key Volunteer program, visit the Headquarters Marine Corps Key Volunteer Homepage or other Official USMC sites found on our Links page. You will find copies of Marine Corps Orders, ALMAR messages, and quarterly newsletters at the HQMC site.

If you are looking for information for newsletter articles or general information, try the Marine Corps Community Liaison Office newsletter resource page Links. This site contains a library of articles that are designed to be used in newsletters or command briefs.
